Pet Policy

• $300 non-refundable pet fee required per each pet.

• Maximum of two (2) pets per apartment. 

• Pets must be pre-approved before they are allowed on the property. Pets are not considered approved until the pet application is complete, we meet the pet in the Leasing office, the pet addendum is signed, and the pet fee(s) are paid in full. Upon approval, you will be issued a pet tag and door sticker. If the breed is in question, we will require Section III to be completed by a licensed veterinarian to qualify certain information about the pet. Any charges for this service will belong to pet owner, not Plaza Terrace or Blues Farm Apartments. Additional applications are available at the Leasing office. An application is required for each pet.

  Pet sitting or visiting pets are not allowed. Should we discover that you have an unauthorized pet/animal on the property, you will be required to pay a non-compliance fine of $200 and remove this pet/animal from the premises until the application process is complete. Paying this fine does not allow you to keep an unauthorized pet/animal on the property. You agree that if in our opinion solely, your pet is disturbing other residents, demonstrates aggressiveness towards another person or animal, or causes damage to property, you will permanently remove your pet from the premises within a maximum of 10 days from the apartment community upon the request from management. Extreme circumstances can dictate removal of pet within 24 hours. When a pet is outside of the apartment it must wear an identification tag on the collar and be kept on a leash- under the owner’s control at all times. All pets/animals must be kept crated when staff or contractors are in the apartment during routine service or inspections. Pets/Animals must be housebroken and taken a minimum of 25 feet from the buildings to eliminate their waste. Owner/Resident will be fined according to the fee schedule per occurrence for improper disposal of solid pet waste and unleashed animals. Pets/animals are not allowed in our furnished, corporate rentals. No snakes, rats, roaches allowed. Birds, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, Turtles, etc. must be pre-approved. Additional cleaning fees will be charged after vacating the apt. if necessary.

• Prohibited Breeds: Chow, Rottweiler, Doberman, American Bull Dog, American Stafford shire Terrier, Stafford shire Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, any Pit-Bull categorized dogs or any dog that is mixed to the listed restricted breeds.
